This year we are not raising the rate for holiday weeks like 4th of July. The rate will be constant at $575 + 5% tax for Oak Island and your $100 refundable deposit. This will save you a little extra money if you book for a holiday.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IF YOU BOOK SPECIFIC DATES AND DO NOT SHOW UP YOU WILL FORFEIT YOUR DEPOSIT AS WELL AS YOUR RENTAL FEE.NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. Cancellations are accepted up to 30 days prior to arrival without forfeiting the rental fee. $100 deposit will be retained for holding the dates open. Cancellations after the 30 day cut-off will be charged 1/2 the rental fee for cancellations made up to 2 weeks prior to arrival. After the 2 week deadline, the total amount will be retained. We will do our best to change dates to accommodate you if you find you have a conflict after booking but please understand that sometimes it will not be possible and that we reserve the right to retain your deposit and a portion of your rental fee if you decide to cancel instead.

Right in the center of town; near the waterway and the beach strand is this cozy coastal cottage renting for $575 +5% tax weekly . This two bedroom; 2 bath cottage sleeps 8-10 comfortably and is 3 blocks from public boat ramp. Near center of town. Near beach/ocean access. Near restaurants, grocery store, shops. This Oak Island, NC, cottage has just recently been totally renovated. New Icy cool air conditioning inside. New stainless steel appliances in kitchen. Corianne counters. Double door refrigerator with ice maker. (water, crushed ice in door). Gas fire place. Instant on Gas water heater. Washer and dryer. Jacuzzi tub in main bathroom. Shower in master bathroom. Sleeps 6+ comfortably. Furnished except for personal items, linens, towels, food, etc. Direct tv in livingroom with large back deck with built in grill. Front porch for sitting and watching the neighbors. We do not supply food items, linens, towels, summer outdoor accessories, fishing equipment, personal appliances such as hair dryers, bikes, or other personal items. You should bring these with you or you may rent them on the island through agencies that are there. Bring your boat and your bikes for this vacation rental by owner for summer 2011.
Your fee includes all utilities, trash pick up, 150 channel Direct Tv with local stations, LP gas water heater and fireplace, computer wi-fi access.
there is a deposit (100.00/weekly)returnable if there is no damage, breakage or theft.The deposit fee should be received with your reservation and monthly fee.(for weekly rental, the rental fee is due 3 weeks prior to the date of rental).Please leave the house as clean as you find it. We do not charge a cleaning fee nor do we clean the premises while you are there. If you wish to have maid service there are agencies on the island that will provide this for you as well as towels, linens, etc.
No smoking or pets. Sorry...............If you decide to have either on the property, you will be asked to leave and your money will not be refunded. We reserve the right to conduct property inspections during your stay at our discretion.

Book for July 4th week and attend all the festivities in Southport at the North Carolina Fourth of July Festival. Come for a Clam Digger's Class Reunion (former students at Southport High School). Surf our ocean. Bring your boat or jet ski and use the facilities at our nearby marina. Sail and kayak our rivers and streams and ocean. Our golf courses are green and ready to welcome you. Why not rent this cosy coastal cottage at Oak Island,N.C,? Close to several championship golf course; fishing piers; local gun range; state historic sites;30 miles from Wilmington, NC; 70 miles from Myrtle Beach, SC; 30 miles from Calabash (seafood capital of the world).
