Meme's Beach House does not furnish personal items. We provide the house or suites in our Private Home, the furniture in the home, the amenities for you to enjoy including television with local and satellite channels. We provide a safe and secure place for you to enjoy your vacation.
You need to provide your own linens, towels and bath items, personal items, paper products, grocery items, washing powder, etc. We do not provide personal beach items such as floats or beach chairs. Our furniture is intended only for use at our house. We hope you will enjoy the toys and books and games in our house. These belong to members of our family who have kindly left them for your use. The decorations in the house all belong to different family members. Our oldest son is the one who renovated the house several years ago (he watched a lot of HGTV). If you wish us to furnish linens or beach items please make arrangements in advance with us to have them on hand.
We have tried to really make you feel at home in our house. I hope you enjoy your visit.
We ask that you clean the premises before you depart at the end of your vacation so that the next guests can enjoy a clean and neat house like you did. If you do not care to do housekeeping there is a service on the island who will provide a maid for you for a fee. They also furnish towels, linens etc for a fee if you do not care to bring your own. Again, if you wish us to provide these items please advise us in advance.
There will be an additional fee for providing linens,etc.
We reserve the right to enter the premises at any time that we have been alerted to or suspect a problem of any kind.
We do not allow PETS, SMOKING, illegal drugs, excessive drinking, fighting, loud parties.
We expect our renters to be responsible adults over the age of 25. Under no circumstances do we rent to teenagers or college kids who are alone without the supervision of a responsible adult.
In the even of theft or damage of the premises that exceeds the deposit on record , the Oak Island Police Department will be notified and a report/complaint made.
